Electronic instruments for monitoring meteorological and hydrological conditions and managing monitoring networks:
From its early days, activities in this sector have been identified by 3a srl with the Green Planet brand. The instruments proposed allow for the control of primary meteorological and hydrological measures in various fields:

The remote management of measurement networks is thus targeted at customers with weather and water stations located in different areas, requiring an external support structure. The service is dispensed via the weather control room situated in Turin. Services provided include automatic remote connection procedures to the monitoring stations connected via GPRS to the control centre, the downloading of data and archiving in structured databases, validation procedures using algorithms defined with customers, and web based applications for their visualization and processing (see "Membership services based on web platforms developed by 3a srl").

Development of Web platforms for agriculture and the environment:
3a creates WEB GIS solutions for agricultural and environmental applications that allow for the organization of territorial, agricultural and environmental data in a numerical or cartographical format. Front-end development makes use of the Microsoft Silverlight environment, which is extremely interactive in creating a dialogue with the user. The Geoserver application guarantees the web viewing of the geo-referenced data archive. In addition, 3a's GIS web applications allow for the use of drawing tools to define points and areas of interest directly on the selected layer.
