Meteorological Station
Since 1997, 3a has been providing electronic technology for surveying environmental meteorological parameters.
Weather stations supplied by 3a guarantee:
- Manufacturing standards conforming to the recommendations of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
- Sensors featuring a high level of resolution and accuracy.
- Advanced data acquisition instrumentation capable of processing measurements and guaranteeing quality control upstream from the transmission.
- Photovoltaic power systems capable of guaranteeing operating self-sufficiency for the weather station even during periods of persistent cloud cover.
- Data transmission systems conforming to the specific needs of the monitored site, taking into account mobile telephone service coverage, and the availability of LAN or wireless networks.
The acquisition control unit features analogue and digital inputs, performing the querying of different sensors at preset frequencies. The acquired signals are processed over preset time intervals without altering the accuracy of the sensors' measurements, providing data, averages, and cumulative values. The sampling frequency for each parameter is established in relation to the scope and time variability of the data and management and technical requirements.
